Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly ambitious, organised and motivated individual to join our team, based in our new premises in the heart if Barrow-in-Furness as General Manager.

The role is pivotal to supporting our current operations and drive further success within the business.

As a rapidly growing company, with a nationwide reach, this role is created to support our day to day  business function and help offer outstanding products and service to our expanding customer base.

The role combines operational management, logistics, business development, marketing and customer service. This is a hands on role for a driven individual who can manage a small team as well as work under their own initiative.  

Job Description

• Overseeing daily business operations, including order processing, invoicing and finance, business admin, social media, stakeholder and brand communication, stock control and customer liaison.
• Developing and implementing growth strategies.
• Quality control and budget management
• Line management of staff
• General working area upkeep, health and safety monitoring and reporting
• Supporting social media activities
• Stock tracking, inventory support and identification of sales and promotional lines
• Researching and identifying growth opportunities
• Training of staff and supporting people development
• Evaluating performance and productivity
• Undertake regular competitor analysis
• Produce reports for the directors with a solution focused approach
• Other duties as required
